We're
Here For the Party
On Saturday, October
22nd arriving members left their horses with the head
stable hand and entered the double doors to find a room full of
cowboy hats. Under all those hats was a mighty fine looking group of
Club members ready to party at the "CRYC Ranch" at Western
Night.
The evening began with cocktails and hors d'oeuvres in the Brig and
Wheel Rooms, followed by dinner in the main dining room. The
main dining room had been transformed into a dinner and dance hall
with red and white-checkered tablecloths topped off with western
boot centerpieces and decorations throughout the room.
Amber Leigh and her five-piece band provided the evening's
incredible musical entertainment. Dance instructor Danny
Carter got the crowd up for line and two-step dance lessons before
dinner was served. What a group of quick study and talented members
we have at this Club.
Chef Kevin had a crowd of hungry ranch guests to feed, so he and his
staff cooked up "Cowboy Steaks," salad, stuffed potatoes,
and green beans. The evening meal was topped off with old-fashioned
apple pie and vanilla ice cream. Hats off to the chef!
After dinner the band kicked it up a couple of notches and the dance
lessons paid off, as there were a lot of boots scooting around the
dance floor in the true western style.
No party could be a success without the help and support of the
members and the employees at CRYC. We would like to thank everyone,
especially the employees, who helped to make this party a success.
Happy Trails
