A gala fashion show, hosted by the Anc'Hers Women's Group of CRYC was held at the club on November 18, 2005.  Over 100 women, many of who were guests of CRYC members, attended the event - designated as a fundraiser.  Membership information was made available to all guests that attended.

The chairwoman of the event was Mrs. Ruth Roman who worked tirelessly to make the event the success that it was, despite it's rescheduling because of hurricane Wilma.  An elegant luncheon was served, as well as the cocktail of the day, the Seductive Stiletto, specially prepared for the day.  The table decorations were Beautifully handcrafted stiletto heels with sequins feathers and satin accents.

Club members Rear Commodore William Loughnane, Marilyn and Roy Williams, Dee Wilson, Deborah Hartman, Joyce Epstein, Carol Stack, Barbara Greene and Judith Honorowski modeled fashions from Stein Mart.  Ms. Alexandra Danbourg, the Agenda Coordinator at Stein Mart and fellow Anc'Hers member, helped each model select the perfect fashions and accessories to be modeled.  She was assisted By Carolyn Ehrhandt, and Sandra and Enrico Balestracci.   Each model entered and departed the catwalk, accompanied by the beautiful music of Nick Peskar, on the piano.  Mr. Ron Roman and Mr. Dan Rubens, formally dressed in tuxedos assisted each model she entered and departed the catwalk.

Beautiful baskets, to be raffled off were donated by Anc'Hers members, and The Design Team Beauty salon.  Danny Carter, dance instructor and owner of Dance Moves, donated a certificate for a private lesson.

At the conclusion of the event, each model received a red carnation and Ms. Danbourg graciously received a bouquet of red roses.  Mrs. Lana Volpe, President of Anc'Hers, declared the afternoon to be a smashing success.
