DRESS CODES/
ATTIRE at the CORAL RIDGE YACHT CLUB
(for a
more complete explanation of dress and uniforms please refer
to the House and Ground Rules or Uniform Regulations in the
CRYC Directory).
Casual Dress - (including dress shorts and collared
shirts but excluding bathing attire, tee shirts, tank tops or
cut-offs) is permitted at all times in the Bar, Wheel Room,
Brig, and Card Room. Tee shirts and caps (but not worn)
are only permitted in these areas before 5 p.m. For Sunday
Brunch
and Seafood Buffet, you may wear casual attire going
through the lines, but you must consume the food in the Wheel
Room or Brig.
Coats and Ties - Coats and ties are required for men in
the Main Dining Room after 7 p.m. on Wednesday through Sunday
evenings from November 1 - April 30. Ascots, bolos and
banded shirts are permitted in lieu of ties. Ties are
not required from May 1 through October 31. These rules remain
in effect for Club parties held in the Main Dining Room unless
the dress code for the event states otherwise. In that case,
please refer to the event flyer, The Log, the CRYC
website, Club bulletin board or ask at the front desk.
Service Dress Uniform - Double breasted sack cloth of
navy blue cloth; trousers of the same material, or of white.
White shirt, black four-in-hand tie. Shoes and socks to match
trousers.
Club Summer Undress Uniform - Short-sleeved white shirt
with epaulets (with CRYC "sleeve"), white pants, belt, shoes
and socks. Can be worn when "casual dress" is stated. Often
worn at Captains' Club between May 1 and October 31.
Black Tie - Traditional tuxedo or "service dress coat"
consisting of a double breasted sack coat of black cloth with
black buttons with foul anchor design, (with appropriate
"designation of rank" on the sleeves), black bow tie and white
shirt and tuxedo trousers.
According to the "Uniform Regulations," officers, governors,
past officers, governors, and members "are encouraged to
wear uniforms at all Club functions (not private parties)."
