The Cruisers of Coral Ridge Yacht Club Meet to Plan and Party

The Cruisers' meeting and cocktail hour was held in the Commodore's lounge, Thursday September 23^rd, 2004. Upcoming trips to Sunset Harbor, Bayside Marina, and Ocean Reef were on the schedule. This was an opportunity to sign up, and plan for future cruises. Introductions of new Cruiser members was given by Joyce Epstein. The Fleet Captain, Ray Ramey, also discussed upcoming events.

The annual Poker run, on October 3rd, was explained. There will be a number of stops, at different restaurants and marinas, where a poker card is purchased. Upon returning to the CRYC, the best hands will be awarded prizes.

After the meeting, a dinner was available in the Wheel Room. A choice of a buffet or ala-carte dinning was offered. This is typical of the monthly Cruisers meeting. A chance to plan trips and socialize with boating people. A boat is not a prerequisite to join the Cruisers. Sharing a ride with a boat owner is usually possible.
