23 boats
and over 70 people attended the Williams Island Cruise on February 27 &
28. We were especially happy to welcome back Joyce
Epstein who is well on the road to recovery, and looking great.
Friday night was the Docktail Party, which was made especially nice
because Williams Island Marina supplied tables with tablecloths and
skirts. New Lanterns illuminated the goodies and I am happy to say
that they will be at all the future Docktail Parties. It has been
suggested that we invest in some folding tables and when our treasury
swells again, we are certainly going to consider that possibility.
Our next venue is Cannonsport Marina. Lynda and Ron Smith are
hosting that cruise and we know it will be fantastic as they always do
such a great job. April sees 8 of the Cruisers vessels off to the
west coast with Dolly and Jim McBride leading the way. Dolly and
Jim have made some wonderful plans and anyone who is not signed up and
wants to go should call them at 954-563-2624.
